My Thoughts: 5 stars
Let me start by saying how much I LOVE Josiah. Not only is he physically unique with a gummy smile and twinkling antennas- but his personality is one that the kids will absolutely adore! My nieces loved his blue fit and admired how he was so passionate about his singing. Josiah's brave little self was persistent to sing for the Lord, even when others around him told him not to. He didn't seem to understand why it made them so happy when clearly all he was doing was sharing the song in his heart. The message the story brings is so powerful: embrace who God made you to be and don't be afraid to use the gifts He gave you, for Him! Josiah's Song teaches little ones to choose God despite what others do or say. I think it's safe to say that this is one of my favourite Christian children's books, ever. Danya Cawood is a wonderful writer. Her style is SO fun and lyrical! I can't wait to see more of her work in the future.
